Christchurch Rotary Club, is a group of about 40 men and women who meet most Tuesday evenings to volunteer their time, talents, professional skills and energy to improving the lives of people in our local community and the rest of the world.

The Club includes a Registered Charity (No. 241146) to cover its charitable work. Enquiries are welcomed from people who would like to know more, or who might like to investigate the possibility of becoming a Rotarian or becoming a Business Partner.

We organise events and activities to provide services and to raise funds for local and overseas good causes. These activities often form part of the international Rotary movement’s many actions to serve, promote goodwill, understanding and peace. Rotary International is a worldwide organisation of over 100,00 local Rotary Clubs and Just like us in Christchurch, they too offer service to their local area. Humanity in motion really takes off when we all join together in projects all over the world.

Members of our club cherish the opportunity to give something back, to give hope to those less fortunate by doing something really worthwhile. We also enjoy socialising, networking and working  with like-minded people who share interests and aims. This provides opportunity to make friends as well as worthwhile business contacts.

Membership of Rotary helps us all to learn valuable new skills and grow as a people. It provides a warm welcome from other Rotarians around the world whenever you're on your travels. But best of all it provides an opportunity for individuals to make a real difference in the world.
